Stars at Blues Round 2, Game Five Preview: Blues need focus, attention on a win

Wednesday night was not pretty. As fans have seen many times so far this postseason, the Blues started with all cylinders firing only to become unfocused and scattershot, allowing the Stars to score four unanswered goals. What was different this time, though, is that the Blues let the Stars into their heads.

In the past, you’d expect the Blues to retaliate physically to make up for scoring shortcomings. It was a hallmark of the team under the captaincy of David Backes, and sometimes it sparked a drive, and sometimes it made the team look petulant.
