There were some issues last night in the Blues’ 5-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes. Most fans were focused on this (which admittedly did dovetail nicely with my earlier tweet about Allen sliding himself out of position making saves. It was almost as though Jake saw that and went “hold my beer”):
Perhaps they should be just as focused on the box score, which shows that the bulk of the Blues’ offense came from Vince Dunn and (accidentally) Oskar Sundqvist and that the Blues managed a whopping three SOG in the second period.
