Despite the swirling circumstances over Joel Edmundson‘s contract over the summer, the St. Louis Blues have a solid defensive core that will shine again in 2020.
Led by captain Alex Pietrangelo, the Blues have a great combination of skill and strength to shut down some of the best lines in the league and produce on the scoresheet every game.
A full season of Jordan Binnington will help the defensive metrics overall, but even if he isn’t the same player we saw last season, there are still plenty of reasons to be excited about the Blues’ defensive unit.
