The St. Louis Blues are in the middle of trying to get back into the playoff hunt, but starting on Tuesday, the best young players from all across the world will compete in Vancouver.
The tournament consists of ten teams that are divided into two groups of five. Each team will play every team in their group once, leaving the top four teams from each group to advance to bracket play.
Kostin will be the only St. Louis Blue to represent the team at this tournament. Team Canada requested that Robert Thomas be lent to the squad, but general manager Doug Armstrong refused the request.
