When St. Louis Blues goaltender Jordan Binnington debuted in the net in January of 2019, nobody knew he was going to be quite the mask aficionado. We only ever saw him wear one all of last season.
Why would he need to change? Goaltenders are notoriously superstitious about their equipment and Binnington had a season that almost won him the Calder trophy and went all the way to the Stanley Cup championship.
Binnington has showed us he is not just a one-mask goaltender in 2019-20. Even if only briefly, Binnington has worn three different masks in 2019-20.
