St. Louis Blues Go Nine Rounds, Beat Stars

The St. Louis Blues tied the franchise record for longest shootout last night at the Scottrade Center. After 9 rounds, team captain David Backes found the net and Jake Allen followed that with a save to get the Blues 2 points.

Those 2 points are going to come in handy as the St. Louis Blues try to narrow the gap at the top of the central division with the Dallas Stars. The Blues are now 7 points behind the leaders, the Dallas Stars.

The Stars will see the Blues once again this afternoon in Dallas.
