The St. Louis Blues are clearly looking to make changes to the team. They have already fired their head coach Mike Yeo, and it looks like they may be interested in making a move to acquire a new goalie.
Jake Allen has been an average number one goalie throughout his six-year NHL career and he is signed through the 2020-2021 season at $4.35 million a year.
Allen has never really taken the Blues to where they want to be. Even in 2015 when the Blues made a deep playoff run to the Western Conference finals, the team still had Brian Elliot to split time with Allen.
