Robert Thomas injury: Blues center suffers broken thumb in loss to Coyotes

The Blues have been having injury issues this season. First Tyler Bozak gets sent to the IR with an “upper body injury” (read: concussion), and now Robert Thomas is headed to the IR for at least the next month:

Thomas’ injury happened Saturday night against the Arizona Coyotes, shortly after Thomas scored the Blues’ first and only goal of the game during the first period. The injury was a result of a collision with Coyotes forward Nick Schmaltz:

Thomas’s broken thumb will be re-evaluated in four to six weeks.
