St. Louis Blues: The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Troy Brouwer and Jamie McGinn to professional tryouts. McGinn practiced with the team yesterday and Brouwer will practice today.
Brouwer played for the Blues back in 2015-16.
Coyotes GM gets an extension
Arizona Coyotes: The Arizona Coyotes have extended the contract of GM John Chayka. No terms were released.
“We are extremely pleased to sign John to a long-term contract extension,” said Meruelo. “John is one of the brightest and hardest-working general managers in the entire NHL and over the past four seasons, he has done an excellent job of rebuilding our franchise and transforming the Coyotes into a contender.
