Kyrou, a native of Toronto, is known for his speed and agility in all three zones. In two seasons in the Ontario Hockey League, Kyrou has been used on the first power play and penalty kill units, indicating his potential as a versatile player.
Last season, Kyrou scored 17 goals and 34 assists (51 points) in 65 games with the Sarnia Sting.
