Following behind the excellent top pair of the defense, the second pair naturally has a few more questions. Can Philip Broberg and Justin Faulk do enough as a pair to put this team over the edge into having one of the better defensive cores in the NHL?
The Blues defense will largely go as far as the top pair can take it, but don't discount the second pair as a critical component of the calculus.
