The Blues have been so hammered by the injury bug this season that fans can be forgiven for thinking that every new injury is going to result in a player being sent to the injured reserve.
When Oskar Sundqvist sat out the third period of the Blues’ victory over the Kings on Friday, fans were concerned. The lack of specific detail wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, because it seemed that coach Craig Berube wasn’t concerned. Vladimir Tarasenko returned to the lineup the next game, which was a nice slot-in for yet another injury. The Blues lost the next two games in extra time to close out the road trip.
