First Period -
After some sloppy play from the Blues, and a few how did the Kings not score moments...The Blues scored a power play goal. That’s right. The Blues scored a power play goal. Needed to type it twice to believe it. With 6:48 to go in the first period, newest Blues defenseman Torey Krug finally broke the Blues out of the power play ohfer (0-14 up until tonight). Krug one timed the puck so hard at the net that he fell over on the shot. The puck deflected off a Kings player and not Jonathan Quick, er, Calvin Petersen couldn’t make the save.
