The Kings are rolling right now - they’ve won four games in a row, and have snuck into the fourth place into the West Division. They’re 7-6-3 and have been playing solid hockey supported by their veteran corps.
The Blues, on the other hand, have been duct-taped together. Some key pieces are getting closer to return, but the list of missing players is disappointing. Somehow or another they’re able to still put on a show like Saturday night. Sure, they came short, but they fought back. Moral victories are still losses, and Saturday stunk, but there’s a fire there that fans can draw on there.
