*Note* Mike Hoffman did not skate in last night’s game due to work visa issues. Guess that’s what happens when you sign a contract literally days before the season starts. It is expected that he will be in the lineup for tomorrow night’s game.
First Period -
Giving the Avs two power plays less than five minutes into the game was less than idea. The Blues killed off the first one. Unfortunately, the Avs cashed in on the second one. Andre Burakovsky one timed a loose puck that just kinda slid over to where he was at.
