Blues trade Zach Sanford to Senators for Logan Brown

The latest victim of the Vladimir Tarasenko saga isn’t exactly unexpected. Zach Sanford, who signed a one year, two million dollar contract with the team in early August, was dealt today to the Ottawa Senators. In return, the Blues receive a conditional 2022 pick and Logan Brown.

Last season, Brown scored two goals and seven assists in 14 games played for the Belleville, Ont. Senators. If he plays 30 games with the Blues this season, the conditional pick is removed from the deal. Brown, who is a massive 6’6” and 218 lbs, is the son of former Blues defenseman Jeff Brown.
