Blues sign Tanner Kaspick to contract extension

The St. Louis Blues signed Tanner Kaspick to a one-year, two-way contract extension. From the press release:

Kaspick’s deal is worth $750,000 in the NHL and $80,000 in the AHL.

The Blues originally selected Kaspick with the 119th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Last season, Kaspick posted five points (two goals, three assists) in 20 games with the AHL’s Utica Comets. As a whole, he recorded 27 points (12 goals, 15 assists) in 125 career AHL games.

Before turning pro, Kaspick recorded 159 points (59 goals, 100 assists) in 216 games with the WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings and Victoria Royals.
