We all knew that Pat Maroon wasn't going to stay away from the game for long.
The 2019 Stanley Cup champion with the St. Louis Blues announced his retirement earlier this year and hinted at wanting to stay around the game earlier this summer.
"Right now just diving deep in some things that maybe I want to do, venture off into media world, maybe do some side things," Maroon said back in June. "I'm looking forward to retirement and spending time with my family."
Well, it's not in media -- although he did serve as a guest panelist for TNT in the playoffs --, but Maroon has landed his next gig in his hockey career.
