The Blues are clawing their way back from Covid-19, it looks like. Tyler Bozak and Justin Faulk are both back from the protocol list tonight, barring setbacks. Alexei Toropchenko will be making his debut tonight, as the Blues have more roster holes than Bozak alone can fill. With Jordan Kyrou and Brayden Schenn both out for the foreseeable future, the Blues had to make another call-up; they found the cap space to call up Toropchenko thanks to the placement of David Perron on the LTIR retroactive to November 27th.
Somehow, despite the mess, the Blues are 3-0-2 in their last five games, and have given a few of the league’s best teams a run for their money.
