Is it necessary for the Blues to win tonight’s game to advance to the Finals? No. Would it be nice? Yes.
Is it completely do-able? Sure thing. If the Blues catch the Sharks off guard early like they did Friday night and net a couple of early goals, San Jose has to play from behind. The Sharks have demonstrated that they’re more than capable of doing that - they put up a hell of a comeback effort in game four - but it’s a lot harder to come from behind than go up a few and hold a lead.
