When I think about the 2018-19 season, the first thing that comes to mind is the St. Louis Blues avoiding the two year playoff drought, and the Chicago Blackhawks failing in that regard.
Tonight, for the final road game of the season, the Blues ride into Chicago with the hopes of keeping pace with the Winnipeg Jets and Nashville Predators, and keep hope alive for a 100 point season.
It’s incredibly odd to think about 100 points when the Blues looked like clueless jackals in January. An incredible run won’t mean much though unless the Blues can keep it going and finish strong.
