The Blues have been rolling right along, and a quick look at the standings shows... that they’re still tied with the Minnesota Wild for second in the Central Division.
The Blues are 9-0-1 in their last ten, the Wild are 8-0-2, and the Avalanche have taken their foot off of the gas a bit down the stretch, going 6-4-0. They’re still in first place by seven points and have clinched the division and conference, so why not play out the season?
The Blues could take advantage of the Avalanche’s coasting as they continue to fight for home ice advantage.
