Three Takeaways: St. Johns v Georgetown

The Johnnies remain winless in the Big East due to their inability to guard D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera and the lack of offensive rhythm in the first half. The Johnnies bench provided a spark but it wasn't enough to mount a comeback in the 2nd half.

The Johnnies fall to 7-11 overall (0-5 in the Big East) after tonights 93-73 loss to Georgetown. The Hoyas led by D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera (33 points) dominated most of the game as they scored a season-high 93 points. Senior forward Ron Mvouika was held scoreless in the first half but sparked the Johnnies offense in the second half with 15 points.
