The last game was a bit dispiriting. Last week, St. John’s suffered a loss to Villanova where a stretch of 15 minutes saw the Red Storm revert to bad habits, individual offensive play, and hang their heads a bit. It raised questions about the teeter-totter this St. John’s team is on — fast and exciting, but badly lacking shooting.
But this challenge may be a greater one, as a balanced Xavier team comes to town to pour salt in the recent wounds
