The St. John’s soccer team gets a huge road win over UConn to open Big East play
On Thursday night, the St. John’s soccer team responded to its disappointing loss to a previously 0-7 Yale squad on Sunday with a resounding win over the Connecticut Huskies by a score of 3-0.
The win was only the Red Storm’s second all-time in Storrs but the scoreline does not tell the whole story of the game.
Connecticut dominated St. John’s through most of the first half, leading the Johnnies 7-0 on shots in the first 21 minutes.
