The men’s soccer squad began their second week with a well-matched game against the Marist Red Foxes. The match was even in most respects with the Johnnies holding a 17-16 advantage in shots and 14-12 advantage in fouls against.
The Red Foxes drastically defeated the Johnnies in shots on goal, by a count of 8-1 but the lone goal of the game was in the 7th minute on a penalty kick conceded by D Lucas Bartlett.
The rest of the match went on with the excitement of 30 shots combined but the temperament of a goalless match.
