A forward is looking to expand her 3-point shooting range for the St. John’s basketball program.

Sophia Nolan was another freshman on the St. John’s basketball team last season that saw her minutes decrease as the year progressed.

Nolan, the twin sister of Emma Nolan, did not see the floor much in Big East play, but with more minutes to be spread around for head coach Joe Tartamella, the 6-foot-1 forward is hoping her sophomore year can be more fruitful on the court.

Last season the Marquette Catholic High School standout only played in 11 games for the Red Storm and received a total of six minutes since the turn of the calendar year.
