A coveted St. John’s basketball transfer has found his new home.
David Jones was very sought after by various other programs after he entered the transfer portal following just one season with the St. John’s basketball team but he has found a new home.
Jones announced his commitment to Memphis this week after entering the portal in mid-April.
Kentucky and Xavier were also recruiting the former DePaul Blue Demon, according to multiple reports.
Jones has the potential to be a volume scorer with the Tigers but shooting inconsistencies plagued him with the Red Storm after averaging 13.
