It didn’t quite go according to script, but the two-time defending TBT champions Overseas Elite found a way to overcome a 13-point first half deficit to down the sixth-seeded Team Challenge ALS 86-83 in the championship game Thursday night in Baltimore.
Kevinn Pinkney’s shot to tie the game at the buzzer fell short, giving Overseas Elite the title.
Behind 29 points from the sharpshooting Kyle Fogg, 18 of which came within a ten-minute span in the first half, and 18 points from D.J. Kennedy, Overseas Elite was able to increase their all-time record in the tournament to 19-0.
