The Johnnies conclude the non-conference portion of their schedule when they take on the 19th ranked Hofstra Pride on Saturday, March 26, at 1 p.m. at Dasilva Memorial Field on the campus of St. John’s. This will be the 18th meeting between the two Long Island rivals, with Hofstra holding a 13-4 series lead, although the Red Storm have won two of the last three matchups.
St. John’s (1-7) is looking to right the ship, as they have lost three straight games since their win against Siena in their last home game nearly three weeks ago. The problems have been on both offense and defense, losing the last three games by an average of over eight goals per game.
