Former St. John’s baseball standout pitcher Cody Stashak has been placed on the 10-Day Injured List for the Minnesota Twins with a back injury.
One of the best pitchers from the Minnesota Twins has found his way to the Injured List as the organization has placed Cody Stashak on the 10-Day IL.
Stashak’s injury is officially listed lower back inflammation and his time on the IL is retroactive to August 12.

While it’s unclear when the injury first presented itself, the ailment came to a head following one of the best outings of the shortened season for the former Red Storm standout as 26-year old responded from three hits, three runs, and one walk with striking out the side on just 12 pitches.
