- According to Zach Braziller of the NY Post, momentum is shifting in this coaching search toward Iona’s Tim Cluess. Sources say as of Wednesday night, St. John’s and Cluess have had informal discussions about the coaching vacancy. St. John’s is expected to officially request an interview with Cluess sometime soon.
Also included in Braziller’s article, “...the talks had progressed to the point that Cluess believed he was the leading candidate to replace Chris Mullin,” and that discussions may intensify in the coming days.
