Augmented Reality startup Vuzix will release a new pair of smart glasses that feature real-time instructional feedback for golfers of all skill levels. The announcement comes as part of Vuzix’s new partnership with OnCore Golf.
OnCore is best known for developing high performance golf balls. Using Vuzix Blade Smart Glasses, this partnership will introduce an AR golf experience using third-party ball launch systems at driving ranges and practice facilities starting at the beginning of next year, according to a Vuzix press release.
By mid-2019, OnCore plans to launch its smart GENiUS ball, which when paired with Vuzix’s smart glasses will provide real-time AR tracking and analysis software to use on the course.
