USA Volleyball has renewed its partnership with wearable technology company VERT. In the new deal, VERT – which in the past helped USA Volleyball men’s and women’s teams monitor workload to prevent injuries – the teams will be able to take advantage of the company’s latest performance tracker.
The G-VERT Team System, which is worn on the waist, measures power, G-force, jump analytics and kinetic energy. VERT’s main focus is on high intensity trackers that provide athletes with insight into how they are expelling energy.

“With the development and release of the new G-VERT Team System, great levels of biomechanical data will be available to aid improvement in athletic performance,” Kerry Klostermann, the USA Volleyball Secretary General, said in a statement.
