The University of New Haven has established a partnership with gaming peripheral manufacturer HyperX.
HyperX will outfit the university’s forthcoming varsity esports program with its gaming peripherals and become an official sponsor of the team.
University of New Haven’s esports program is slated to begin competing in fall 2020 at the school’s newly-built Bergami Center for Science, Technology, and Innovation.
Mark Leathem, General Manager of HyperX, spoke to joining University of New Haven’s esports program in a statement: “HyperX is glad to be working together with a university that sees the value of gaming and esports management skills.
