Ubisoft will take action against players who abuse AFK abuse in Rainbow Six Siege

According to a tweet from yesterday, Ubisoft is taking action against players that use AFK farming tactics in Rainbow Six Siege and will consider “design adjustments” and “new automated AFK detections and punishments” to address the problem. It’s not known if this will come in the form of an update or a patch, but it is encouraging.

If you’re not already familiar with the MT Framework developed by Rainbow Six Siege’s new Anti AFK system is designed to close the exploit of allowing you to farm points over and over again by simply tying your controller up and allowing it to run itself, earning you rewards without any player intervention.
