Global esports organisation Team Liquid has signed a new sponsorship deal with online sports betting service Duelbits.
According to a release, the esports team will create content to promote responsible and safe gambling, with activities centred on fan engagement for Counter-Strike 2 and Chess. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
This marks the first major global sports betting partnership for Team Liquid. The brand will be displayed on Team Liquid’s Counter-Strike Jersey at the Counter-Strike 2’s StarLadder Major in Budapest this weekend, when the team will begin its campaign in Swiss Stage 2.
