The Tampa Bay Lightning have the best record in the NHL heading into the All-Star Game on their home ice at Amalie Arena. And just in time for the weekend of festivities, the Lightning announced that the arena will be updated for the mobile world.
Enlisting the services of Tampa-based startup Venuetize, the team created a new Amalie Arena app through which fans can used to pay for concessions and merchandise and season ticket holders can access and transfer their tickets and discounts. JPMorgan Chase card holders can earn $25 in arena cash if they upload a credit or debit card.
