Hong Kong-based organisation Talon Esports has unveiled the Hong Kong leg of League of Legends: Wild Rift’s SEA Icon Series tournament to ‘celebrate’ the release of the game in the region.
The organisation has also announced Mox Bank as the tournament’s title sponsor. Moreover, Telecommunications company CSL Mobile and Hong Kong Cyberport have been named as partners.
The 2021 League of Legends: Wild Rift SEA Icon Series Hong Kong: Summer Season Presented by Mox commences on May 1st and concludes on June 20th with the eventual champion taking home a lion’s share of over $200,000 HKD (∼£18,654) in prize money.
