Stephen Curry’s new basketball shoe, the Curry 4 “More Dubs” colorway that’s especially for Golden State Warriors fans, dropped for sale on Saturday. Before the shoes hit mass market, though, Curry fans across the Bay Area had a chance to grab a pair as they fell from the sky.
The Curry 4 #DroneDrop brought Warriors fans to different points in San Francisco and Oakland, such as Shoreline Park and Brannan Street Wharf. Other Bay Area locales featured different items, like an Under Armour-branded basketball or an SC30 hoodie. Heading to a park in Oakland could launch a shoe-seeker into Curry’s own basketball mini-game.
