Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry provided some more star power to the Coral Sword, a Houston coffee shop for gamers that is being opened up by San Francisco Giants outfielder Hunter Pence and his wife Alexis.
Curry stopped by last week before the Warriors faced the Houston Rockets to play Mario Kart with the Pences. The hour of racing was all streamed on Twitch, enabling fans to interact live with the famous gamers.
Curry is not as much of a gamer as is Pence, who invests in esports and streams on Twitch, but the two-time MVP did say he had about 50 hours of experience playing as “an amateur Mario Kart-ist.
