1047 Games has revealed that Splitgate 2 will relaunch later this year after ending its final beta playtest.
The free-to-play first-person arena shooter returns several months after reverting to beta following an underwhelming global launch.
Splitgate 2 held its final beta playtest from November 22nd to 23rd, 2025, reaching the final stretch after six months of development. The test sought to gather feedback from fans on party modes, classic and loadout arenas, the Karman Station map and more.
In the announcement, 1047 Games wrote: “On December 4th, the Beta Season & active Battle Passes will be ending, alongside your seasonal ‘rank’ progress.
