Sparta Science Signs First English Premier League Deal With Stoke City

Sparta Science, which has technology aimed at predicting and preventing injuries, has announced its first partnership with an English Premier League club in Stoke City F.C.

The deal means that Stoke City will use Sparta’s software platform, SpartaTrac. This platform is paired with a force plate, which is used to scan athletes within 60 seconds. From this analysis, SpartaTrac calculates a performance score, which is personalized and this is compared to a database of over 10,000 athletes. An app is then used to log activity and monitor progress.

Of the new partner, Phil Wagner, CEO and founder of Sparta Science said in a statement: “This partnership marks our first with an English Premier League club, and we’re eager to apply nearly a decade of learning from teams across all American major leagues to what many consider the world’s most popular league.
