Riot Games has announced it has laid off several staff members working on its fighting game 2XKO.
The developer and publisher of League of Legends and VALORANT revealed that the cuts are part of an effort to focus on development and the title’s competitive plans.
In a blog post published on February 9th, Riot Games stated momentum ‘hasn’t reached the level needed’ to support the current size of the team. As a result, Riot Games has reduced the number of staff working on the fighting game.
