PUBG announces $14m esports programme for 2021

The developer confirmed a total prize pool of 14 million dollars (£10,502,000) is up for grabs. PUBG Corporation disclosed its esports program will begin in 2021.

In the CIS, Turkey, Western Europe, Arabia, North America, Latin America, and Brazil, PUBG will launch seven new PUBG MOBILE Pro League (PMPL) regions. The newly created leagues are expected to supplement those in South and Southeast Asia already.

“2020 was an extraordinary year for us because we have been spreading in every aspect and complete our amateur to a pro ecosystem, but this has just been the start. James Yang, director of PUBGMOBILE global esports, commented on the announcement.
