Announced agreement with Verizon, Psyonix ‘s Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) got the first-ever 5G service network.
The sponsorship deal only applies to the developer’s new competitive RLCS X region in North America, which began recently.
“This year we wanted a partner who could keep up to speed with quick and rapid transformations bringing Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) to the storm,” says a Psyonix blog post on the announcement.
“We’re also happy to announce that Verizon is the North American RLCS X’s official 5G partner. They know a little bit about distribution as America’s best-appointed Network so that we’re delighted to have them run the North American RLCS across the year.
