Austin Richard Post, known professionally as Post Malone, has joined the ownership group of Envy Gaming.
The singer is now a co-owner of Team Envy, Call of Duty League franchise Dallas Empire, and Overwatch League franchise Dallas Fuel.
The “Sunflower” and “Congratulations” singer has taken an undisclosed equity stake in the company. There’s no word on whether he will take on the role of ambassador for the parent company’s three brands at the time of writing.
Post Malone spoke on the decision in a release: “I grew up in Texas and I’ve been gaming my whole life, so this just really felt right.
