PokerStars has announced sponsorship of Brazil’s FURIA online poker site.
The partnership has been said to revive both companies and provides poker and sports communities with “one-size-fits-all entertainment opportunities and content.”
The agreement led by PokerStars ambassador and FURIA CEO André Akkari has taken the pair together with a group of poker streamers. In August 2017, Akkari was one of the best professional poker players in the world before forming FURIA alongside Jaime “raizen” Pádua.
“Furia ‘s DNA has a natural function for poker,” Akkari said. “There is a question of making the best choices for long-term success right now.
