Philadelphia Eagles signs multi-year agreement with Esports Ent Group

Gambling firm Esports Entertainment Group (EEG) has signed a multi-year agreement to be named the official esports provider for the Philadelphia Eagles, with the NFL team, in turn, becoming an EEG shareholder.

The partnership makes EEG the first esports tournament provider for an NFL club. EEG will operate bi-annual Madden NFL esports tournaments for the Eagles utilizing the Esports Gaming League (EGL) platform, which the company announced its intention to acquire in August.

Esports Entertainment Group will work with Eagles players to create custom videos that will promote the tournaments across multiple digital channels.
