PGL to host 2021 Singapore DOTA 2 Major in March

Esports tournament organiser PGL has announced it will host the Singapore DOTA 2 Major, the first Major of the 2021 DOTA Pro Circuit (DPC) season.

The offline event, scheduled to take place between March 27th and April 4th, will be the first Major to take place since January 2020.

The Singapore Major will be organised alongside ONE Championship’s esports subsidiary ONE Esports and the Singapore Tourism Board. ONE Esports was set to hold the Singapore Major in 2020 before it was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Silviu Stroie, CEO of PGL, commented on the news in a release: “We are pleased to come back to Singapore for another great tournament after the Dota 2 Singapore Invitational 2019.
